Neon Beat Streaming - 4.30.12

On The Neon Beat this week Jukebox 1: Mel Carter kicks it off with "Hold Me Thrill Me." and guess what? From here on out I see that I've posted what's on Juke 1 on Juke 2. rrrgh. I wondered how long it'd be for' I did that. Juke 1 you'll hear Pat Boone's "Wonderful Time Up There." Mills Brothers "Cab Driver." "Casino Royale" by Herb Alpert. And Tony Bennett singing a song from "Gypsy" This stuff on Jukebox 1. One I say! John Christopher. Putting the human back in radio. warts and all. :)

On The Neon Beat Jukebox 2 Take TWO: We open it with "Sway" by Michael Buble. It's followed by a theme from a Woody Allen film starring Peter O'Toole. called "What's New Pussycat" sung by Tom Jones. Hear Les Brown's big band standard, "Leap Frog." Enjoy the McGuire Sisters with their take on "Muskrat Ramble." A group that backed Nat Cole on several singles, The Four Knights, sing "I Get So Lonely." Bobby Darin does a smoking version of "Bill Baily." Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Perry Como and more.

On The Neon Beat Juke 3: Bette Midler & Barry Manilow open er' up with a delightful Peggy Lee song. "I Love Being Here With You." Dean Martin follows with "Just In Time." Sinatra sings "I've Got The World On A String." Enjoy the Andrews Sisters paired up with Bing Crosby with "Pistol Packin' Mama." Hear Peggy Lee with Benny Goodman singin' "Why Dont You Do Right?" New Neon Beat Hours on Radio George - Posted 4.23.12

On The Neon Beat Jukebox 1: This hour begins with old Dino. "Your Nobody Til Somebodys Loves You." The Ames Brothers sing a great old Les Brown Hit. "Got My Love To Keep Me Warm." Kay Starr sings one of her number 1 chart hits, "The Rock N' Roll Waltz." Elvis sings a tender song, "Are You Lonesome Tonight." Hear Harry James with Helen Forest singing, "It's Been A Long Long Time." Frank Sinata's "Swinging Down the Lane." Perry Como, Steve Maglio, Lena Horne, Mel Torme and more.

On the Neon Beat, Juke 2: Tom Jones kicks it off with "Daughter Of Darkness." Sammy Davis Jr, adds a little self percussion to perform, "On A Clear Day." (fly Eastern!) Here(scuz me) Hear the Carpenters do a good old Carole King song. Doris Day sings a toe tapping hit called "Everybody Loves A Lover." We'll take a "Walk In The Black Forest" with Horst Jankowski. We take a little vaca with just the monkeys and the palm trees with Mr. Tony Bennett. We pair up Bing Crosby and Satchmo with "Now You Has Jazz." Hear Frank Sinatra & Rose Clooney together for, "Cherry Pies Outta Be You." Vic Damone's "Gigi", Joe Stafford, Ella Fitz, Benny Goodman, and mo.
