Neon Beat on Radio George - June 24, 2013
On The Neon Beat this week, Jukebox 1: Kay Starr fires up this hour with a toe tappin' version of "Swinging Down the Lane." Harry Connick Jr follows up with a "Recipe For Making Love." Hear the Ames Brothers with a 1953 song based on an old German folk tune with the orchestra of Hugo Winterhalter. Hear a swinging version of "Let Yourself Go" by Ella Fitzgerald. We'll get "Breathless" with Nat King Cole. Listen to "That's Life" by Frank Sinatra, The Mills Brothers, Wayne Newton, and an old song by the Brass Ring that was heard in a 1967 cigarette commercial.
