On the Neon Beat Show NBx02: Perry Como launches this hour as we take a “Dreamers Holiday” kicking off not only some great songs of the 1940's, 50's and 60's but also some great Holiday music selections blended in. These including songs by Johnny Mathis, Louis Armstrong, The Boston Pops, The London Philharmonic and a back of the rack request for a 1958 memory by Kenny Bowers, “An Ax an Apple and a Buckskin Jacket”. We'll board “The Night Train” with Kay Starr followed with one by Ray Charles called “You Don't Know Me”. We'll track a hit fav by the English Gentleman singing “My Kind Of Girl” followed up with a 1960 memory by Connie Stevens, “16 Reasons”. Engelbert Humperdinck sings a film piece called “Le Bicyclette De Belsize” and Anita Bryant with another 1960 hit song called, “Til There Was You” followed with a hit record by Ben E. King and the Drifters. Enjoy some instrumental favorites with Nelson Riddle's Orchestra and a sentimental favorite by Hagood Hardy called “The Homecoming”.
