Neon Beat on Radio George - 2.17.14

Hear some great big band with Harry James' "the Two O'Clock Jump." The English Seafarer, Roger Whittaker sings his wonderful mid 1970's hit, "The Last Farewell." Listen to the Marvelous Marilyn Maye, Peggy Lee, Burl Ives, Jim Lowe's "the Green Door" and mo!

On The Neon Beat this week, Jukebox 2: Rosemary Clooney starts this hour with a bauwdy number called, "Botcha Me." Dean Martin follows with "Your'e Nobody Til Somebody Loves You." Then we "Make Ourselves Comfortable" with Sassy... Sarah Vaughan. Listen to the song that got us looking at a dance instructor from Texas named Mary Martin. Tony Bennett sings, "The Good Life." Some great instrumentals with Benny Goodman, Nelson Riddle, and Arthur Fieldler. Enjoy a little country set with Roger Miller, Gogi Grant, and Archie Campbell. These and much more.
