On the Neon Beat Show 85R6: Oklahoman, Kay Starr launches into this session as we go “Swingin' Down the Lane” followed up by some spicy salsa with Perez Prado's Orchestra doing “Mambo Number Five”. Swing along with some big band selections with the orchestras of Benny Goodman and Harry James. You'll hear a selection by a Chicago man whom Frank Sinatra called, “the smoothest chops in the business”: Lou Rawls sings, “Lady Love”. Dinah Shore sings “The Gypsy” followed up with The Vogues doing a great old Four Lads cover, “No Not Much”. We'll spin the New Christy Minstrels with “Green Green” featuring the rustic voice of Barry McGuire.
