After the opening billboard we'll spin what was the first breaking charting hit for Herb Alpert and the TJB. “The Lonely Bull”. Oklahoman Patti Page follows with the song “All My Love”. After the the break listen to Matt Monro with a lovely version of the song “Laura” followed up with a touch of big band with the Glenn Miller Orchestra playing “Tuxedo Junction.” We'll team up Frank Sinatra with Rosemary Clooney with a fun tate-a-tate called “Cherry Pies Outta Be You”. Then the “Dean of Swank” sings one of his hits. “Volare”. Hear a stage and theatre piece with Barbara Steisand with a song she claimed to be one of her favorites. Hear Brook Benton with “The Boll Weavil Song” after which we bring on Tony Bennett with Diana Krall for “The Best is Yet to Come” followed with a smooth rendition of a fine Gershwin standard sung by Nat King Cole. Listen to Petula Clark with “This Is My Song”. Catch a little folk music with The Kingston Trio followed up with one by Peggy Lee. More with Eydie Gorme, The Mitch Miller Gang and a closing big band standard by the Fabulous Spitfire Band of Canada. Turn er' up!
