The Neon Beat on Radio George - 6.25.12

On the Neon Beat this week, Jukebox 1: The Ames Bros start this set with a novelty fav, "The Naughty Lady Of Shady Lane." A James Bond film sweep follows with Matt Monro and Shirley Bassey. Chad and Jeremy sing their 1960's hit, "Willow Weep For Me." Connie Francis sings a film hit called, "Where The Boys Are." Hear Perry Como with "T-T-T Tina Marie, ohho Ah HA." Sammy Davis with Count Basie, Roger Williams, Johnny Mathis and mo! 

On The Neon Beat Jukebox 2: Frank Sinata kicks er off with "Come Fly With Me." Phil Harris follows Frank with a fun novelty hit called "The Thing." Peggy Lee says don't do today what you can put off til tomorrow. Enjoy a hit for Percy Faith with "The Theme from Moulin Rouge." Hear Jersey boy Frankie Vallie sing "Can't Take My Eyes Of You."

On The Neon Beat this week, Juke 3: We start with a song that put Mary Martin on the map, "My Heart Belongs To Daddy." Les Brown with the Ames Bros. follow with a lush version of "Sentimental Journey." Hear Ella Fitzgerald sing a great Artie Shaw standard. Introducing Danny Barrett with "Night Song." Nat Cole does a fast swingin' version of "Avalon". Glenn Miller, Marilyn Monroe, Kay Starr, Sinatra and mo.
