On the Neon Beat Show 46R6: The Ames Brothers lead off with Vic Shoen's Orchestra singing a knock-it-outta-the-park version of “Undecided.” Frank Sinatra grabs the stage next with one of his many signature hit songs, “I've Got You Under My Skin” followed with Vikki Carr singing one from “Oklahoma.” We'll fulfill a request with a back-of-the-rack hit song for Barry Young called “One Has My Name.” You'll hear a 1963 set beginning with Nat King Cole as we remember those “Lazy Hazy Crazy Days of Summer” followed with Andy Williams singing “Can't Get Used to Losing You.” We'll team up Doris Day with Buddy Clark for a little late 40's tease called, “Love Somebody” (but I won't say who). Crank up a great 1957 signature hit song for Johnny Mathis followed up with some great Broadway with Barbra Streisand. Our fine period instrumentals start with Glenn Miller's “Pennsylvania 6-5000”, Morris Stoloff's “Theme from Picnic”, and “Polonaise” by pianist Joe Harnell. Listen to songs with great male groups like The Statler Brothers and Simon and Garfunkel. Catch songs by Patti Page, Engelbert Humperdinck, Bing Crosby and more.
