On the Neon Beat Show 103R6: The Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra, leads off this hour as he brews up a bit of “Witchcraft” backed by Nelson Riddle's Orchestra. As we introduce the show we'll pay a little tribute to Johnny Carson and the Tonight Show with a Henry Mancini rendition of the show's theme. Then, “Just in Time' we listen to one by Dean Martin. Our Big Band selections include a song called “Cherry” by Harry James and we'll cut-a-rug with Glen Gray doing “Opus One”. Listen to an enchanting version of the song “Mamselle” sung by Robert Goulet, then Dinah Washington blasts off the stage for “Destination Moon.” Hear a great Dave Brubeck standard sung by the Marvelous Marilyn Maye. Peter Asher and Gordon Waller bare all for their rendition of “Lady Godiva” followed up with a salsa version of “Fool on the Hill” by Sergio Mendez and Brazil 66. Do a little dreaming with Jo Stafford and the Pied Pipers. And get set for a laugh riot with Bob and Ray as they enact one of their iconic interviews, “The Slow Talker”. More songs with Bobby Vinton singing “Blue Velvet,” Bobby Darin with “Dream Lover” and another dreamin' song by Perry Como. Also we'll track a film theme sung by Nat King Cole and comedian, Stubby Kaye as we hear them sing “The Ballad of Cat Ballou.”
